When choosing works for PowerPoint slides?

It depends on personal tastes and preferences but my personal experience is that the less is better.

Powerpoint is a program for presentation not text processing. So if you want to write a novel use MS Word, otherwise Powerpoint is fine.

The most important thing you want to focus in your presentation is a title of each slide. That means that it should draw the attention of your audience and be more or less self-explanatory and clearly state what you want to say/ask.

For example the title of a slide "We increased our sales by 30%" is certainly better than "Development of our sales during 2009".

Instead of words use graphs, pictures etc. nobody wants to read your presentation and to be honest, despite you project it on the wall, nobody will have time and attention to read it since you will be probably talking.
