It is unknown when windows 9 will come out, or whether or not it will even be called that. It is unlikely to be in the developing stage yet. The reason for this is that windows 7 came out in 2009, and windows 8 has only just been released as a developer preview, with an expected release date of late 2012. Windows 9, if it does get developed, will not be released for at least another 4 years.
