To format a write-protected SanDisk Cruzer Slice 32 GB pen drive, first ensure the write protection switch (if present) is set to the "unlocked" position. If there's no physical switch, you can try using a computer: connect the pen drive, open Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac), and attempt to format it. If the drive remains write-protected, you may need to use command-line tools like Diskpart on Windows to clear the read-only attribute, or check for software provided by SanDisk for troubleshooting. If all else fails, the drive may be malfunctioning.
Most CDs are "write-protected" when data has been written to them and are not rewritable, or are factory pressed. You cannot write over these as it is physically impossible. no, but you can get a pen and write "format" on the disk and THEN it will be physically possible to write on it :P

To unblock a blocked pen drive, first, connect it to your computer. Then, open "This PC" or "My Computer," right-click on the pen drive, and select "Format." In the format window, ensure the "Quick Format" option is checked, select the desired file system (usually FAT32 or NTFS), and click "Start." If the pen drive is write-protected, check for a physical switch on the device and disable it, or use Diskpart in the command prompt to remove the write protection.
