The slides can fill the screen in landscape or portrait format, depending on the camera angle when the pictures were originally taken. Using software, it is often possible to rotate the format of the slide. Usually, when a slide shows a person horizontally, and is then is rotated so the person appears upright, a black band may appear on either side.
Slide Sorter View. This can be accessed from the View tab on the Ribbon or from the view buttons on the Status Bar at the bottom of the screen. It shows about 20 slides on screen at a time making it perfect for re-ordering, deleting and hiding slides.

The function which is performed by Slide sorter view are as follows:- 1. It shows the multiple slides in the presentation on the screen at the same time. 2. In this we can change the order of the slides by dragging them & 3. We can delete a slide by selecting it & using the Delete Key.

This mode facilitates a smoother experience for the audience, as it focuses solely on the presentation. Users can navigate through the slides using keyboard shortcuts or on-screen controls.
Switch to normal view, where you can work on one slide at a time or organize the structure of all the slides in your presentation.
The "Slide Show" view should be used to preview how a presentation will appear to the audience during an actual presentation. This view displays the slides in full-screen mode, allowing you to see transitions and animations as they will occur in real-time. It’s an effective way to ensure that everything looks and functions as intended before the live presentation.
