Where does a rat live?

They like to stay clean so you will see them taking out debris they no longer want in their homes. They like our homes because they are safer, cleaner, warmer, drier and there is a ready supply of food.

The Bushy-Tailed Wood Rat lives throughout the northwestern USA, down to northern California and across to North Dakota. It also lives along Canada's Pacific coast, though not as far north as Alaska. It lives in boreal or temperate forests, deserts, shrublands, or grasslands.
