Make sure you have an Intel mac laptop by going up to the Apple symbol in the top left of your computer and selecting About This Mac. You must have under Processor in the About This Mac window something Intel also your operating system must at least be Version 10.6.1 or newer. If all of those are correct then go back to the apple symbol in the top left and the third choice down should be the Mac App store
