Where is the number lock on a laptop?

Apple makes a range of keyboards most of which will not have a number lock key. Some laptop keyboards will use the F6 key as a number lock and other keyboards can use the Clear key (above the 7 on the number pad) in combination with the Alt or Shift keys to replicate a number lock function.

The number lock is normally located on the right section of your keyboard on the top row of your number pad. if you have a laptop that doesn't include a keypad, then I don't know where you would be able to find it.

Depends whether you have a Mac keyboard or a Windows-aimed keyboard. On Windows, it will be in the upper-right area, saying something like Num Lock, NumLK or Number Lock. It might be on the same key as something else. If it is, and it is at the top, you press it as normal. Lower down, you press the Shift key and the Num Lock key at the same time. If it's in blue letters, you press Fn and the Num Lock key at the same time. Note that some keyboards may differentiate.

It's the top left key on the group of keys farthest right. It usually has "Num Lock" written on it.

Normally its on th right hand side ... u can find a pad with all numbers and arithmetic symbols that's your numeric keypad
