In a 2001 Kia Sportage, the airbag sensor is typically located in the front of the vehicle, near the radiator support or behind the front bumper. It may also be found in the area of the driver's side and passenger's side airbag modules. For precise location and access, it's advisable to consult the vehicle's service manual or a professional technician.
