The TCS system is part of the ABS system - antilocking brake system - but be aware that a simple vacuum leak will be enough to trigger the TCS light to come on.
TCS stands for traction control system.Your owners manual explains how to use it.
The ABS and TCS (Traction Control System) lights in a 2002 Mazda Millenia may illuminate at 65 mph due to a malfunction in the ABS system or a wheel speed sensor detecting an inconsistency in wheel rotation. This could be caused by issues such as a faulty sensor, damaged wiring, or a problem with the ABS control module. Additionally, if the traction control system detects wheel slip or loss of traction at higher speeds, it may trigger the warning lights. It's advisable to have the vehicle diagnosed with a scan tool to pinpoint the exact cause.
how to change speedometer sensor on mazda millenia 2000 2.3 v6
In Canada traction control was optional on the 929.
The throttle position sensor is on the throttle body.
replace your MAF sensor.
It is a nonservicable part, just replace it.
the closest to a sensor for tcs would be the abs wheel speed sensor. just like abs, the control unit sees one wheel spinning faster, and it enables the traction control. kinda like reverse abs. not to be confused with limp home mode, where the pcm stops communicating with tcm, and the tcs off/tcs lites up, and the car wont rev above 2500 rpm
