In theory you can overclock most cpu's.In practical terms the manufacturer tries to take measures to prevent this.If you're determined and resourceful you can overcome that, but it's not really practical.

What is the extra fact that you found out about hardware?

I believe you are asking for fun facts about the CPU? Anyway, a few off the top of my head: 32 bit CPUs can only process 32 bits of data per cycle (64 bits can process 64 bits per cycle likewise). Fortunately most CPUs today clock over 2 billion cycles per second (2GHz). Some can do double that but they are very expensive. CPUs can only do simple arithmetic operations, such as add, subtract, and move data. Multiplication and division is too complex and take multiple steps inside the Arithmetic Logic Unit (part of the CPU... it's very complicated).

What are three factors you need to consider when selecting a new processor?

some factors that you need to consider.first the purpose you need that cpu.the cpus clock, the cpus fsb,the cpus socket to be compatible with your motherboard and the cpus l2 cache

What is AMD x2?
