Services console
The Services console is used to control the Windows and third-party services installed on Windows 2000/XP system. To launch the Services console, type Services.msc in the the Run dialog box and press ENTER.

In order to install Windows Service Pack 1 open the control panel from the bottom left of the screen and click on WIndows Update. Service Pack 1 will be available if not already installed on the computer.

To install IIS, you will need the CD containing your Operating System's installation files. With the Windows CD ready, click on Start, then Control Panel.
