Most of the time it's either the sensor (wheel speed) is damaged or dirty, or the wiring harness for the sensor is damaged. Have it scanned at a qualified repair facility (not Autozone, their scanner can be "shifty") and they should be able to tell you whether it's the sensor or the ABS unit.
Two examples that come to my mind right away are Basalt and Obsidian. You can tell on your own if a rock has cooled quickly by whether or not you can see individual grains of minerals within the rock. So if you cant see any, then its most likely that the rock cooled quickly.
A physician would be able to determine if growth plates are damaged by doing X-rays.

One of the easiest ways to tell if a diamond is fake is by conducting a fog test. Simply breathe on the diamond and observe how quickly it clears. A real diamond will disperse the fog quickly, while a fake diamond will hold the fog for a few seconds.
