PCI Express
PCI Express 2.0 x 16 is the Fastest But PCI Express x16 is faster than AGP
There is no latest AGP bus. The most recent bus designed for high performance equipment is PCI-E. And x16 has the highest bandwidth.
The PCI Express x16 is intended to ultimately replace the AGP bus along with the PCI-X and the Conventional PCI.
PCI Express x16 at 2.5-40 GHz whereas AGP tops out at over 100 MHz
AGP Ports on a motherboard are "Accelerated Graphics Port" and are traditionally used for graphics cards. AGP was used because it provided a direct, dedicated pathway to the CPU and memory rather then using the PCI Bus. Currently AGP is being phased out for PCI Express which is considerably faster.
PCI Express
PCI Express
It can have several buses, including the system bus, the PCI Express bus, the PCI bus, the AGP bus, and the outdated ISA bus.
PCI Express (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express), PCI-E 2.1 is the newest.
The AGP bus is faster and "wider" than the PCI bus, meaning you can carry more data to the graphics card in a shorter amount of time. This allows for higher detail games to be played more smoothly.
The slot which the video card needs to work. The slot is usually either an AGP slot (which is currently outdated), or the more recent PCI-E slot, which all new graphics cards nowadays use.
The bus, for example: PCI-Express (x1, x4, x16) or PCI, or AGP. To imagine this for yourself, it's the slot in your pc, on your motherboard, with that slot, your video card will have to be compatible with. this means, you can't insert a PCI-Express Video Card into an AGP slot. :)
