The Sort & Filter button is in the Editing group on the Home Tab.
The command to sort cells in your PivotTable can be found in the "PivotTable Analyze" tab on the Ribbon. Within this tab, you can access sorting options by clicking on the "Sort" button, which allows you to arrange your data in ascending or descending order based on the selected field. Additionally, you can right-click on the PivotTable itself to access sorting options directly.
When a pivot table is active, you can show its toolbar in older version of Excel and in the new versions the Pivot Table tools will be on the ribbon. Standard formatting, such as fonts, can be applied with the normal formatting options available in Excel.
In Excel 2007, on the Data ribbon tab, click on What-If Analysis in the Data Tools group, and select Goal Seek. In older versions of Excel it is on the Tools menu.
In Excel, the part of the ribbon specifically for working with Pivot Tables is the "PivotTable Analyze" tab (formerly known as "Options" in some versions). This tab appears when you select a Pivot Table and contains tools for modifying the Pivot Table, such as changing the data source, refreshing data, and applying different calculations. Additionally, the "Design" tab, which also appears when a Pivot Table is selected, allows for formatting and styling options for the Pivot Table.
Ribbon
The ribbon is the collection of tools at the top of the window.
In Excel 2007 and higher it is called the Ribbon.
The bar at the top of Microsoft Word is called the "Ribbon." It contains tabs that organize tools and features into groups, allowing users to easily access commands for formatting, editing, and designing documents. The Ribbon replaces traditional menus and toolbars to provide a more intuitive interface for users.
