No, it is not better than the Vista version in my opinion. But, it is a good download for WMM (windows movie maker) Vista users to have, just in case something messes up with their 2.6 version.In Windows Live Movie Maker, you cannot change from the Storyboard to Time-line view, --- both are displayed together instead. Also, there is no option to "Take a Picture from Preview" as there is in v2.6.Windows Live Movie Maker mimics the MS Office 7 theme, with a large 'Ribbon' type menu for tasks. Icons replace text-only menus/tasks, making the program more visually appealing. The only draw-back to this type of ribbon theme, is that you constantly have to cursor to the top bar for tasking instead of the customary left-set menu.I have (and use) both the Vista v2.6 of WMM and Windows Live Movie Maker. But, if asked which one I prefer, I'd have to go with the Vista v2.6.:)
