Conditions formatting (CF) is a tool that allows you to apply formats to a cell or range of and have that formatting change depending on the value of cell or the value of a formula
To efficiently clean a range of data using the Range Cleaner tool, follow these steps: Select the range of data you want to clean. Click on the Range Cleaner tool in the toolbar. Choose the cleaning options you want to apply, such as removing duplicates, formatting cells, or trimming whitespace. Click on the "Clean" button to apply the selected cleaning options to the data range. Review the cleaned data to ensure it meets your requirements. By following these steps, you can efficiently clean a range of data using the Range Cleaner tool.
If you have one cell already in Currency, then clicking on the Format Painter tool and then selecting the range you want to apply the formatting to, will do it. You could also copy from the original cell and use Paste Special to paste just the formatting. You could also just select the range and press Ctrl - Shift - 4

Select some cells with numbers. Clicking on the comma tool will apply the formatting to the numbers, putting commas into the value so something like 23000 will change into 23,000.00 instead.
