As determined by DOD Wireless regulations classified data may be transmitted wirelessly but only under strict and secure deployment configurations and approval from the conditions for transmitting classified data per DAA approval.
Classified data should only be transmitted wirelessly when the wireless infrastructure is secure and strong encryption is used.

By converting it to microwaves
Satellite pictures of Earth are taken by a camera mounted on a satellite in orbit, high above Earth's atmosphere. They are transmitted wirelessly over satellite signals, much like satellite TV.
Laser light is transmitted through specialized optical components such as lenses, mirrors, and fibers. These components are designed to control and guide the direction of the laser beam while maintaining its intensity and coherence. Lasers can also be transmitted wirelessly through the air in free-space communication systems.
Electrical signals are transmitted from one place to another through conductive materials, such as copper wires. These materials provide a path for the signals to travel, and the signals are modulated to carry information. In some cases, signals can also be transmitted wirelessly through electromagnetic waves.
Generally pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) is trasmitted as a series of DC levels and are mostly used in wired trasmissions (DC is not effective wirelessly).
Wireless computer monitors are powered through standard wall outlets. Only the video input signal is transmitted wirelessly.
A microphone converts sound energy (acoustic energy) into electrical energy. This electrical energy is then sent through cables or transmitted wirelessly to devices such as amplifiers or recording equipment.
Electrical power from solar panels, or any other source, can be transmitted wirelessly, however, not economically nor with great efficiency. Therefore I would say that it is impractical to do so on a large scale. One such scheme has been described would gather solar energy using orbiting arrays then sending it to receivers on earth's surface as a narrow beam of microwaves. There are solar powered wireless charging devices for small electronics that are available.
