They aren't, hard drives are always more expensive than pen drives, not the other way around. Look on amazon or play.com or other trusted shopping sites they all back up what I said. The reason why hard drives are more expensive is because of the parts that make them.
HDD stands for Hard Disk Drive... FDD stands for Floppy Disk Drive...
A d2d, also known as a disk-to-disk, is where a computer hard drive is backed up to another hard disk rather than a tape or a floppy. It allows for higher speed and higher capacity.
No, the Disk Defragmenter does not delete any files. The defragmenter rearranges the existing files on the hard drive so they are contiguous, rather than scattered around your hard drive in multiple pieces. The software that deletes temoporary files and what not is called Disk Cleanup.

RAM is Random Access Memory. It holds open programs and files. The more programs and files that you have open, the slower your computer gets. When you save a file, the program stays open on RAM, but the file gets saved to the Hard Drive. ROM is Read Only Memory. It is memory that is hard to change, modify, and update. SSD - Solid State Drive. Solid State drives stores/transfers files at a faster rate than Hard Disk Drives. They are also less volatile than HDD's. HDD - Hard Disk Drive. A Hard Disk Drive stores your files on a hard disk. It is slower than an SSD and is more volatile than SSD too and should avoid magnets. Hope this helps
Because flash drives are plug and play devices
Each disk partition, regardless of whether there are more than one physical drives in the system, is given a drive letter.

flash drive? i dont know if you are more specific maybe someone could answer this beeter than me Flash drive is an extarnal media but the media of a hard drive is disk platter.
If I understand what you are saying then the reason for that is that the hard drive may be damaged when you need to use it or it can not be read properly
Yes, a hard disk is much greater than a CD.
Generally speaking, hard drive cases do not offer more protection than another case. If you drop a hard drive while in its case, the resulting shock may displace some of the hard disk platters which will ultimately prevent the disk from being read. Additionally, a fully enclosed hard drive case is not healthy for the hard drive if the case does not provide a way for the hard drive to radiate heat. Please note that hard drives are one of the hottest (temperature wise) devices running in your computer. The friction caused by a spinning hard drive is what generates the heat in a hard drive so you must ensure that the hard drive has proper cooling available to it.
