There's no such thing as "user-friendly." User-friendly is a term used to arbitrarily describe how easy something is to operate or use, without any sort of common reference point. Almost any sort of computer, for instance, is difficult to use if you can't read or write and don't speak any of the languages on the computer. A famous quotation with regards to Unix is "Unix is user-friendly. It just isn't promiscuous about which users it's friendly with."
The above answer is a very good answer to the question; I would just add that Unix was developed initially for other technically minded users, and wasn't for non-technical end users at the time. Everything that was done was done for users that were technically proficient in the C language (for example) and that wanted to get things done in an efficient (for them) manner.

Because Linux evolved from UNIX, but Windows evolved from DOS.
Say that the 'I Love You' was intended as a friendly gesture rather than a romantic phrase.
Points of a compass
Hold to your convictions, but spend more of your time listening, rather than talking.
First off, Macs are computers, whereas Linux/UNIX are operating systems. They are not the same. Comparing OS X, however, is more productive: OS X itself is a UNIX operating system derived from BSD. Objectively, however, OS X falls quite short of the average UNIX implementation or Linux distribution in this category. It allegedly sports the most "user friendly" interface, but this is subjective.
Rather than listing them all here (which is subject to change), it would be better if you went to the web sites for the various flavors of Unix/Linux to check on what processors are supported.
Windows hosting is the most common application. Rather one is better than the other will depend on your personal preference.
Yes, you can install a programmer on a 1989 Chevy truck, but compatibility depends on the specific engine and the type of programmer. Many older vehicles use carburetors rather than electronic fuel injection, which may limit tuning options. However, if the truck has been modified with a compatible electronic engine management system, a programmer can enhance performance by adjusting fuel maps, ignition timing, and other parameters. Always ensure that the programmer is designed for your truck's specific setup.
Friendly. "Fellow" typically connotes a sense of camaraderie and friendliness rather than being adversarial or lovable.
Diabetic friendly foods are low in carbs and fat. They should use a no calorie sugar substitute rather than white or brown sugar. Whole grains are better than white bread or pasta.
