Try to check your hardware/drivers. Go to the upper left of your mac and hit the most left button. Click on "About this mac" and go to advanced. Check hardware for audio. Make sure it has its drivers installed. Make sure you check all settings in sound. Make sure your setting for outgoing sound is set to the right speakers. or....get....a....windows.
