A flip-flop is an arrangement of gates that is capable of storing one bit of information. One bit is enough to make it a memory device. Collections of flip-flops can be assembled into registers of any width, and various techniques for loading and reading such as serial shift in/out or parallel may be implemented. Counters can also be built from flip-flops. In each case, the register holds data for as long as its input state is appropriate (depending on the type).
The ability to persist either of two states is what makes the flip-flop the prototype of all memory devices.
Memory devices are the devices of computer system which stores the data and information in it.
Expansion Boards
Flash memory is a term used for solid state devices. They are called solid state because they have no moving parts and the data is "flashed" to the device. Mobile phones use flash memory, USB storage devices or even large mass storage devices can be bought as solid state.
Chanclas are sandals, this word is Spaniah. That's why it called chanclas. chanclas= flipflops
static memory devices are those which stores data permanently as long as power is applied. and dynamic memory devices are those in which data is not permanently stored even with power applied, unless data is periodically rewritten into memory.
Is a computer memory made up of bistable devices?"
It's commonly called the CPU, Central Processing Unit.
RAM
Memory drives are peripheral devices that are very useful
It depends if these multiple devices use the exact same memory card type.
A memory stick
As technology has evolved so have devices with a memory. Some devices other than a computer that have a memory are cell phones, PDAs, game consoles, care radios, VCRs and TVs.
