Since you say your laptop is producing sound - It's likely to be either the cable you're using is faulty - or the port on your computer. Oh - and check the settings for the port too - It might be muted (see your volume controls from the speaker icon on the task-bar)
If your surround receiver has 2 HDMI inputs, connect both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 to the receiver with HDMI cables, and then connect the HDMI output of the receiver to the television. Simply connect the PS3 and Xbox 360 to the A/V inputs whether they are HDMI, Component, S video, RCA A/V, ETC. It does not matter if it is 480i 720 or 1080P as long as it is a Projector TV and not just a projector
You can get service through your cellphone provider. With a cable I hooked my phone to my laptop and got internet when traveling.

This is for a laptop/computer Okay, go to start, control panel, Sounds and audio devices. If it has not recognised any sound device, its likely your sound drive is corrupt or doesn't work, or if you had some virus to wipe some of your hard drive you might have lost it there. The only way i know to get it back is by having a HP laptop because that's the type i have, but type in on Google/firefox... (your laptops name here ) Sound And Audio drivers. If you have a hp, what worked for me is i got soundmax of the hp website. !
You can play games on any laptop (except for Chromebooks) but your laptop may not be able to handle graphic-intense games such as Call of Duty or Battlefield.
you should get Samsung headphones for it.

You'd need the restore disk which came with the laptop.
Because you mom's new laptop is taking the % of connection you once had. Simple as that.
