Your question is a little vague - However... RAM is faster than say, a hard-disk because RAM is made of silicon chips holding thousands of tiny electronic switches which are quicker to access. On a hard-disk - the information has to be found first by reading a 'reference track' which locates the information on the disk - then a read-head has to physically move to that part of the disk.
A memory cache is small amount of RAM that is much faster than the rest of RAM?
for faster access of memory
Virtual memory is memory taken from your HDD and converted into ram. Ram is the actual memory chips installed in the memory modules on your motherboard that are used for running processes, programs(etc.)
memory cache
memory cache is a small amount of RAM (referred to as static RAM) that is much faster than the rest of the RAM, which is called dynamic RAM (DRAM).
to connect RAM and get faster of the performance of computer.
rom
The main purpose of a Ram Drive system to make a computer operate faster. It is a faster type of temporary memory that applications can use instead of RAM.
Because it's the extra memory that helps the system go faster. RAM stands for Random Access Memory. It's the portion of the computer memory that is called upon to run whatever program you are using at the time. The more RAM a computer has, the faster and better it can run a program.
RAM Drive
SRAM is faster than DRAM. Because Static RAM requires anywhere from 4 to 6 transistors and some wiring. The memory never has to be refreshed. It's therefore faster than dynamic RAM. Because it has more parts, though it takes up more space on a memory chip, which gives the chip less memory and makes it more expensive.
RAM stands for "Random Access Memory". It is the memory that your computer will randomly access and use when trying to complete a task, when you end the task, the ram usage will decrease again, enabling for faster usage of your system
