Depends, if a game would not run on a xp there could be three problems
If you want to run an xp game on a vista it should work just fine. in some cases it will not work. but its a 98% shot it will.
They are "compatible" in the sense that many applications that run on Windows XP will run on Windows Vista.
No. Games from XP should run out of the box. A few that do not can be run under Compatibility mode, but in general games that don't work are too poorly written anyway.
Windows Vista can already run most XP applications, with no need for any additional software.
Yes ofcourse, Windows Vista is upgraded version of Windows XP. Obviously it can run Windows XP applications.
Some Games will work on Vista even though it says ME/2000/XP some games that don't work with Vista Yet but if you try using XP Compatibility mode they might be tricked into thinking that Vista Is XP but some games are smarter than that.
Windows XP is better. Vista is a better at running games, but it is slower and more problematic than XP
Yes. It will work but only small games. Not all the games will work on Vista.
Games that are written specifically for Windows Vista will not work on Windows XP. Most games are written so that they will work on both.
Most programs that run on Windows XP will also run on Windows Vista.
Yes, I have used it with Vista
Yes, but much slower than it would run Windows XP or a Linux distribution. Make sure your computer has at least 1GB of RAM to run Vista decently.
You might get it to download it depends on how you do it,but "xp word" will not run on vista there are too many differences in the way vista utilizes programs. It's just not compatible, sorry.
