A striped volume and a spanned volume
no
A spanned volume requires a minimum of two drives to be created. It combines multiple disks into a single logical volume, allowing for increased storage capacity by utilizing the combined space of all included drives. However, it does not provide redundancy; if one drive fails, all data on the spanned volume can be lost.

You will have to validate your volume licensing with Microsoft. I believe it comes with a software that tells you where to go and what to do. After validation, this software should be able to tell you the number of computer units you can install the software in to.
Yes. In Windows 7 you can add up to 32 drives in a single spanned volume. The disks must be dynamic disks and can not be basic disks. However if one of the drives in the spanned volume fails then the entire volume will fail and the data will be lost.
