Try holding down the Ctrl + Alt keys while using the Arrow keys to rotate the screen back to it's original position. If that does not work right click on an empty area of your Desktop then click Properties. Click the Settings tab then the Advanced button. Click on the tab for your graphics card and look around for an area dealing with rotation to revert the settings. With an Nvidia card a list pops up with NVRotate listed. Click it and you will see the options. ATI may be similar. If you do not wish for it to occur again look for a Enable rotation box and uncheck it.

LCD monitor can be classified as IPS, MVA, PVA, and TN screen. IPS and TN screen are the most popular type of LCD display, while MVA and PVA are kind of outdated... What is the different between IPS and TN you may ask, IPS has wider viewing angles and color representation, compared with TN. But TN has higher refresh rates than IPS and it is cheaper than that. TFT was referred to as one type of screen. But it is not actually. The Thin-film transistor, a type of transistor commonly used in flat-screen displays, likes a controller. It is an type of controlling system instead of displaying method. Now, if to recommend a monitor, i highly recommend Viewshocker, a IPS portable monitor. It is light and portable, just check their website: feilitu
Laptops have a VGA out port (D shaped and usually blue) which can be connected to a monitor with a VGA cable. i tried mine with a gateway t-series 1625 laptop to FPD1975W TFT LCD MONITOR but right before i can get into user login it says <RESOLUTION REMINDER-your computer screen may not match this monitor optimum (1440x900) setting. to adjust your screen resolution, see your computer's printered or online documentation. press auto button on the side of this monitor after adjusting the screen resolution. how do i solve this problem?
It could be many things. For example it could mean a bad motherboard or a lose cable that connects the screen to the motherboard or the screen itself is damaged. You can narrow down your problem by connecting a desktop monitor cable to the VGA port now after you connect the monitor and you can see a picture it means that your motherboard is working and you may have a lose/damaged cable or a bad screen.
