There should be a button labelled numlock, push this and it will toggle number pad on and off.

a number pad is a pad containing multiple numbers in sequence to allow quick input of many digits. typically found on the farthest right side of a keyboard, containing the numbers 1-9 as well as 0 . enter + - /* and numLock :)
If you have a keyboard that has a number pad on the right hand side, you can turn numberlock off. After, hold the Alt key down and press any of the number on that number pad and you will get a symbol. Goodluck ☻
You first need to have a number pad on your CPU... (alot of laptops do NOT) then you hold down alt the whole time and on the number pad you type in one number at a time... for me the number 4 and 7 do not work HOPE THAT HELPS :D
put number lock on and hold alt and type in 0169 on the number pad
