The kp501 is orange compatible and doesn't come with the Thomas and touch app, the Kp500 comes with Thomas and touch, and it can also be compatible with most of the networks (when i bought my Kp500 they said that they could do it with orange, o2, vodaphone etc.)

You would need a Thailand PS2. Most likely the game is in PAL format, and you have an NTSC Console. The different TV Standards are NOT compatible with each other.
