The Pinnacle Dazzle DVD recorder will not work with a Mac. Pinnacle do have some Mac compatible products (See links below) and, depending on what you wish to achieve, something in the Elgato range may help.
The price of a Pinnacle Dazzle DVD Recorder on Amazon is $34.99. As of the first of May, 2013, the price was the same for used and refurbished Pinnacle Dazzle DVD 100 Recorders.

You can get a great price on a Dazzle DVD recorder if you can find it on Craigslist. Failing that, you can try your local electrical store. Amazon or eBay tend to have great deals too.
The Pinnacle Dazzle DVC100 DVD recorder is primarily designed for capturing video from analog sources and converting it to a digital format. However, it is not directly compatible with the Xbox 360 for video capture or recording gameplay, as the console uses HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) which the DVC100 cannot bypass. For recording gameplay from an Xbox 360, a dedicated capture card that supports HDMI and is HDCP-compliant would be necessary.
No mate, go for a EasyCap

None to my knowledge. But you can just add an effect to make it black and white like in windows movie maker or sony vegas.
1: Record using personal camera 2: Put a blank DVD in DVD player then hook game system to T.V which is connected to your DVD player. Start the game and press record. 3: Use Dazzle Video Recorder
A DVD HDD recorder is better than a VCR, or a simple digital DVD recorder. Nothing can match a DVD HDD recorder's ability to pause and rewind live TV. If that's something you want, a DVD HDD recorder is the only way to get it with currently available technology.
