Sadly, what I'm finding is that you can't. Also, most universal remotes don't seem to have the correct signal to do it either. I think our best bet is to try to find a remote specifically for the TV from the manufacturer or get another TV.

Without making major changes, you need an AV to remove a virus. There are several free ones like Avast!. If you really need to avoid an AV you can reinstall windows or install Linux.
