Take out the 2 batteries that should make the screen flash, leave in the one that makes the hands move. Put the 2 batterias back in the watch and quickly put something metallic on the RESET point to "short circuit it". You have to do this quickly or it wont work.
I had do this 3 times bofore it workt.
The same way you started it before replacing the battery.

did you unhook the battery before replacing the alternator
You need to replaced the starter or the alternator.
try replacing your battery maybe turn the key?
as soon as you start the vehicle it should register
Clean battery terminals, then tighten down the battery cables. With the ignition key---like any other time.
It could be the alternator or an electrical issue
