Programming the remote to the TV and receiver can be done by following the steps outlined below! If you need to lookup codes for the TV, you can visit the link in the 'Related Links' section.
For the TV: First, press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up, then release and TV light will be blinking. Enter the code for that TV model and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times. After that, try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if it is working. If there is no function, then repeat steps 1-4 with another code.
For the receiver: Go to System Info screen. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the number pad on the remote, then press the pound (#) button. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record, and test the remote and see if it works.
thats only if your reciver has more than to outlets for the speaker to connect to if it does have it connect it the program it to your remote so you will be able to control it with your remote.
According to Gatehouse remote controls and entry systems, these remotes are no longer made. So you have to replace the receiver, and the remote, with the genie girud receiver upgrade kit. This is $47.64, and another $24.87 for each additional remote above the first. Here is the link: http://www.gatehousesupplies.com/genie-upgrade-kit-p/girud-1t.htm
I use LG and it works fine. For Time Warner Cable, LG code 1178 to be specific.
The best thing to do to program your RCA remote is to follow the directions you were given when you purchased it. Each universal remote is slightly different, so your best bet would be to follow the instructions you were given at time of purchase.
What receiver do you have? Is it TV 1 or TV 2 that's not working when the lights are off? Have you tried to readdress the remote to your receiver? Normally when the remote stops working, you are getting interference for the IR signal for TV 1 or UHF signal for TV 2. Do you have new batteries in the remote? Please let me know so I can further assist you. Thanks.
I won a 60inch Bravia SONY TV in its box, completely in its proper packaging, however I received batteries but no remote so I can't turn on my TV. Is there a CODE I can use that will program my WAVE remote to my new TV so I can turn on the TV?
A universal remote control works by allowing codes to be entered for your electronic equipment so it can be operated by this remote. It offers codes to be entered so it is interchangeable with many different brands.
Depends on your system but go to http://www.hmaservice.com/authenticator/login?returnAddress=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hmaservice.com%3A80%2Findex.jsp it will give you step by step instructions. By the way, I don't believe you program the remote so much as you program the main unit to accept the remote you have.
It will depend on the make and model of the car. They do this so one can make a copy of the automated keyless entry remote.
the remote has been lost and a new remote has been purchased. i had to remove the fuse to get the alarm to stop. how can i reset the alarm? So i can program the new remote.
go to http://www.programyourremote.com/ It works perfect. When you remove and reinsert the key per the instructions, remove it and swing it about 2 feet away from the ignition so the sensor can't detect the passcode in the key.
Found my answer by looking at some other sites. Some suggested using a 1 before the number (new version of remote). So I tried 10074 - didn't work. Another site said that a 3 before the 4 number code worked better. So I tried 30074 (0074 for JVC in comcast document) and it works great now.
