There are 2 small Phillips screws on the back (one might be under a label. Remove them and pop the unit apart. Inside are 2 nicad AA batteries with solder tabs that will need to be unsoldered and replaced (pay close attention to polarity). Solder the new batteries in (making sure the polarity is correct) and put the razor back together. The razor will have to be charged before use. I recommend at least 12 hours for initial charge before use.

(The phillips screws are very very small) The screwdriver I needed to use was a Wiha 261/PH000x40

I believe this is for computers but it worked just fine for this shaver.
