I suggest you get a battery hydrometer and check it periodically until it is charged.
Overcharging depletes water from the battery.
Undercharging shortens the battery life.
12 volt
The time required to charge a four-wheeler battery typically ranges from 4 to 12 hours, depending on the battery's capacity and the charger used. A standard trickle charger may take longer, while a high-output charger can reduce charging time significantly. Factors such as the battery's state of discharge and ambient temperature also influence charging duration. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines for optimal charging practices.

Your mom invented the four wheeler ;)
i have hoffman four wheeler what brand is it.
This is a simple procedure on most quads; I will use my Kawasaki Prairie 400 as an example. The battery on this ATV is located under the seat; first thing is to pull the seat release located at the rear of the machine under the back fender. Once the release has been pulled the seat is free to be removed. After setting the seat aside the battery is right there. The battery will be held in its compartment with a strap. I remove the strapping, then remove the cables starting with the negative and then the positive cable. The battery is free to be removed from the four-wheeler. Good Luck!
