Ah means Ampere hours. A 4 Ah battery can release 4 amps for one hour, or 1 amp for 4 hours, or 0.5 amps for 8 hours, or 8 amps for 0.5 hours.
yes a 5ah battery is a longer working battery than a 4ah so it is actually better than the 4ah
Yes, it mAh or Ah is how long the battery lasts, it does not affect performance.
Its a 12 Volt System. The Standard battery is 4Ah
Yes, you can replace a 4Ah battery with a 5Ah battery, as long as the voltage and connector types are compatible. The 5Ah battery will provide a longer runtime, as it has a higher capacity. However, ensure that your device can handle the increased capacity without any issues, as some devices may have specific requirements or limitations. Always consult the manufacturer's specifications before making a replacement.

I'll answer my own question since no one answered it. I replaced the 2 pcs. 12v 4.5ah battery w/ 2pcs. 12v 4ah battery. It seems alright since it is now working fine for at least 2 months w/ 1 PC connected to the UPS. What I'm concerned though is that the UPS will overcharge the batteries since the replacements have a lower ah rating. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The charging will be fine - it is how long the UPS will run for (if you mains cuts out) that has been affected by your replacement.
Energy = 4Ah x 3600 seconds x 12 volts = 172,800 Joules
I assume you're assking about a 4Ah(ampere-hour) battery.How long it'll last depends on the drain.If the drain is 1A it'll last 4 hours.0.5 A, 8 hours2A, 2 hoursetc, etc
A battery is simply two or more cells connected together.
Yes, these terms refer to the same thing. A storage battery is a means of storing electricity.
In medical terms, battery often means a group of tests.
The first choice was the best: 3 x 12 v 12 Ah will give a 36 v 12 Ah battery. In series the same current goes through all the batteries so the Ah capacity does not change.
