Isignia is also made under the Hisense brand name...if you still have the original remote, the instructions on how to program it can be found in the "Universal Remote Control User Manual" which can be downloaded from: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/documents/Hisense/HYDFSR-A205E.pdf The original remote will only accept 3-digit program codes....the device will be TV1 on the remote and the code that worked on my tv which is the Insignia IS-HDPLTV42 is 589. The Hisense web site as follows; supplies me with device codes 178, 10019, 505 and 627 depending on your provider none of these seem to work on my lcd40v57ca tv. If they work on yours let me know.
