The LG Octane has many features such as a 3 megapixel fixed camera, a music player and many other functions that can put a serious drain on the battery. To preserve battery life, it is important to charge the battery properly. To do so, turn off the phone, and then carefully pull up the cover off the port for the charger. Next, insert the cable of a UBS cord into the slot and plug the charger into an electrical outlet. The charge time will vary depending on the level of the battery. The battery is fully charged when the meter shows full bars or when it is displayed that the charging is complete.
You can use a universal charger. Usually they should charge any battery under 4.8v.
The LG KG800 is different from the original LG Chocolate because it has added features. One of the new features is a longer battery life per charge and this will give added internet and talk time with each charge.
It takes 3 to 4 hours to charge, if the battery meter does not show fully charge by then-maybe it is time to replace battery. Hope this helps.

Either the battery is not retaining its charge - OR - the charger isn't charging the battery. Either way try using another battery - or charger.
Around 5 hours from an empty battery.
The battery life of this phone should last about three days with normal use. Although, it is regularly reported that this battery does not hold its charge for very long.
No, the LG Octane does not have a touch screen. It is a flip phone and you must use keys to navigate on it. Perhaps consider an alternative if you are wanting a touch screen phone. Good luck!
I would go for the lg env touch. Reasons because it has a better camera, it comes with a few games, has cool messaging features, and it is slim and thin unlike the lg octane which is bulky and thick. So all around the lg env touch is the better phone. Hope this helped!
