Chickens can eat just about anything. They particularly like leafy green vegetables like lettuce, and they love rice and seeds and are crazy about worms and insects. Chickens would eat pie. About the only thing you do not want to feed hens (aside from spoiled food) is garlic. Garlic will make laying hen eggs taste foul.
