There are enzymes in avocados to which people can be allergic if they suffer with latex fruit allergy (e.g. banana allergy). As these enzymes are highest in the skin, eating the skin could lead you o be sensitized to these enzymes and develp a allergic response. However, cooking will denature the enzyme and thus safe, but without a way to test one would ot know if the avocado skin was cooked enough.
