Nope. He gets the credit but Maxwell and Faraday did the work. :) Induction heating using Hysterisis will be Steinmetz work. :) Tesla didn't discover that either.

Tesla was brilliant and he discovered a lot of things. But people attribute a lot to his observations of things which were already known - because he was in the papers a lot - as if he discovered them when he didn't. (He also seldom corrected anyone.)

Nikola Tesla

Did nikola invent the radio?

Guglielmo Marconi is usually credited with the development of radio, not Tesla. Tesla is more known for patenting an AC induction motor, which became the basis for many electrical applications. Tesla experimented with wireless power transmission, seeking to compete with existing radio communication.

Did Tesla invent anything?

Yes, Nikola Tesla was a prolific inventor who made significant contributions to the development of alternating current (AC) electrical systems, wireless communication, and early wireless transmission of energy. Some of his notable inventions include the Tesla coil, induction motor, and contributions to the design of modern alternating current electricity supply systems.

Why did Nikola Tesla invent the induction motor?

Nikola Tesla invented the induction motor with rotating magnetic field that made unit drives for machines feasible and made AC power transmission an economic necessity. With this, Tesla set the basis for machinery and households to be powered with ac electriticity.
