Defrosting a three-tier wedding cake typically takes about 6 to 12 hours, depending on the size and type of cake. It's best to move the cake from the freezer to the refrigerator the night before serving, allowing it to thaw slowly. For a quicker method, you can leave it at room temperature for about 2 to 4 hours, but this may affect the texture. Always keep the cake covered during defrosting to prevent it from drying out.
Depends on the size of the cake. When I'm making a cake I use one box for one tier. The sizes are on the back of the box. If using round cake pans they show two cakes but they're not very thick cakes. Tiers are usually at least 3" thick. The cakes are usually only 1-2" baked (2 - 9" rounds) My advice is to google (Wilton.com has a good size chart) how many boxes per pan you need for the size cake you're trying to make. I have used that cake mix before for a 4 tier round cake. I used a thread to split both cakes in half and cooled them down. I then put one of the tops of the cake facing down on the plate and began layering and filling.
It's a VERY VERY good idea by putting dowels in to support the top tier. Its better to be safe than sorry so you probably should. If I were you, I would just to be safe.

Tier 2 and Tier 3 operators refer to telecommunications and internet service providers classified based on their size, market reach, and infrastructure capabilities. Tier 2 operators typically have a regional presence and interconnect with Tier 1 networks, while Tier 3 operators are usually smaller, local providers that may rely on Tier 1 and Tier 2 networks for connectivity. These classifications help in understanding the hierarchy of service providers and their roles in the broader telecommunications ecosystem.
