Orange Juice mixed with vodka in a small dish, and set it near most of the herd
first thing needed would be to know what type of gnat you are dealing with to know what type remedy is needed...the most common gnat that I come across professionally are fungus gnats that live in the soil of potted plants that are kept to wet. The larvae feed on the fungi / algae that grows in the wet conditions. The easiest remedy is to re-pot the plant into clean soil and watch the amount of water it is given in the future. No matter what type of gnat they turn out to be you will need to find out where the source is for any other remedy is just catching the adult gnat after the fact, not really getting rid of the problem.
No.
Yes, bleach kills...well...anything. So bleach would definitely kill gnats. As a matter of fact, we have a gnat problem right now >.< and we are spraying bleach on them to kill them. Hope this helped.
Drying out the soil can help control gnats by disrupting their breeding environment, but it may not necessarily kill all of them. Gnats thrive in moist conditions, so reducing the moisture in the soil can discourage their presence.
Maybe
Yes.
Probably look up gnats and it should pop up
Dawn dish soap can help get rid of gnats on your plant by suffocating them. Mix a few drops of Dawn with water and spray it on the affected areas of the plant. Be sure to test on a small area first to ensure the concentration is not too harsh for your plant.
yes but too much soap will also kill the plant
The quote "Jem waved my words away as if fanning gnats" can be found on page 303 of Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird.
Any fly spray will kill them but they reproduce so rapidly, the source needs to be found & the area dried out.
so they can have the land to there self
Yes.
