The same way you clean dishes with water and soap. At least I think cause I would think that would get the taste away too.

Use sea salt?
Yes. Natural sea salt. Table salt can have things added to it and that can be bad for the piercing. Its just the safest bet :)
Sea Salt Spray
With sea salt, not table salt, and provon. The sea salt you put in a cup and put it on your belly and let your ring soak for 5-10 minutes.
If you've got the sea salt spray, lay on the floor, fill up your bellybutton with the sea salt, and the top part. Let it soak in for a bit and with the corner of a folded paper towel, dip it in the puddle of sea salt, and clean your jewelry. Then just clean out your bellybutton
To de salt as well as remove odor from seashells clean them with boiling water.
Use antibacterial soap like Dial use sea salt to make it less swollen . Clean it around twice a day . The sea salt won't clean it but it helps make it less swollen . Use either the natural sea salt=water or an alcohol free mouthwash for rinsing your mouth. Dial can make your skin really dry so only use it 1-2 times a week. The natural sea salt is fine for everyday.

They just slide in the salt ( SEA salt) water and slide out. they also clean them selves by rubbing all the dirt off them.

Not just regular table salt. You need to use natural sea salt. Otherwise it could have stuff added to it that's not ideal for piercings :)
