How do you say Mom's Kitchen in French?

My cajun French great great grandmother went by Ga-me (pronounced Gah-May). Kitchen should be la cuisine. Though Chez means 'house of', or more specifically, kitchen of....so maybe the most correct translation is Chez Ga-Me!
