Tomatoes are known to be acidic- I use sugar(s) but there may be other methods...
Tomato sauce can taste bitter due to the presence of compounds like alkaloids and tannins in tomatoes, which can give a bitter flavor when cooked down into a sauce. Additionally, overcooking or burning the sauce can also lead to a bitter taste.
Ketchup is spiced tomato sauce cooked with vinegar. Tomato sauce is the sauce made by cooking tomatoes down until the meat of the tomato breaks down into a sauce consistency. yes it is stick a straw in it and suck none of your spit goes down because of the oil
You can boil down tomato sauce on the stove. You can also blend crushed or whole tomatoes and boil down to 2/3s the sauce.
Well you said TASTE, so Im assuming youre just wanting to ease the tomato flavor.... try a dash of sugar. Sparingly. It tones down the tomato taste. Because tomatoes are acidic, you are definitely going to have and acidic taste. Instead of using sauce, try just butter or olive oil. If you are worried about heartburn from the sauce, take pepcid ac, zantac, or tagament about 1hr before you eat and have some tums in your pocket for after you eat. The only way to offset the acid is to have something alkaline.
That is a matter of personal taste, Tomato paste is condensed tomato sauce so its purpose in a sauce would be to thicken what you already have without spending the time to cook it down. I use one large can of tomato sauce and one small, one small can of stewed tomatoes ( use potato masher on them to reduce the big chunks) one can of tomato paste, one can of mushrooms ( I like them ) a package of schilling tomato sauce seasoning, and about 6 cut up cooked hot Italian sausage.
Water it down a bit with more tomato sauce (or ketchup) and some water.
A tomato sauce is cooked and is generally made up of tomatoes together with other ingrdients for example onions, garlic seasonings. Tomato juice is uncooked and is made simply of pureed tomatoes and nothing else except perhaps some added salt. You can't turn the sauce into the juice by adding water though you can turn the tomato juice into a sauce by adding other ingredients and cooking them together
No. Hot sauce does nothing but make food taste hotter. No. your height is down to genetics.
puree or ketchup passata
It is possible, but such a substitution is not always a great idea as tomato paste has a much more concentrated, stronger flavor and has less moisture. So the recipe with the replacement of tomato sauce will be more liquidy and have less of a tomato flavor to it.
The biggest mistake most people make is putting it on before starting to cook. It should not be put on the meat before grilling. The sugar in most of them will burn and leave you with black and charred outside and raw inside. Wait until the last 5 minutes to put it on the meat.
