1 tablespoon "tbsp" or "Tsp" (note the "T" is capitalized) is one half of one ounce. Since 1 cup is equal to 8 ounces and 1 ounce is 2 tablespoons, (8*2=16) then 16 tbsp equals one cup. To answer your question directly, there is 7/8 of a cup in 14 tablespoons.
