For a gathering of 10 people, you typically need about 1/3 to 1/2 pound of ham per person, depending on whether it's the main dish or part of a buffet. This means you would need approximately 3 to 5 pounds of ham. It's always good to consider the appetite of your guests and any other dishes being served. If you expect hearty eaters or want leftovers, you might opt for the higher end of that range.
A sixteen pound ham may feed 18-20 people
Approximately a 13 - 15 pound ham would be needed for that many persons. If you cook it with vinegar it will make your ham VERY moist and tender...trust me, I didn't believe it at first either. Merry Christmas!!
No one can do math for you without all the numbers, so you would have to tell us how many people. But roughly it is two and a half people per pound, so ten people is four pounds.
For 9 people, it is recommended to plan for about 1/2 pound of ham per person. Therefore, you would need approximately 4.5 pounds of ham for 9 people.
50 pounds, a pound per person

The amount of ham salad needed for 25 finger rolls depends on the size of the rolls and the desired filling. Typically, you might use about 2-3 ounces of ham salad per roll. For 25 rolls, you would need approximately 3.125 to 4.6875 pounds of ham salad, so rounding up, you would need about 4 to 5 pounds to ensure each roll is adequately filled.
A general rule of thumb is that a boneless ham will provide around 0.25 pounds of meat per person. Therefore, a 6-pound boneless ham would feed approximately 24 people.
The usual rule of thumb is 1/2lb per person. I Bought a 12 pounder for 10 people here in Korea last month and that was wayyy more than enough. Had plenty of extra for yummy samiches :)

From what I've researched, it seems that you should count on 2 servings per pound, so for 30 people, you will need a 15 pound ham. If you want leftovers though, you should go bigger (that is for bone-in ham).
Usually a serving size of meat is 6 ounces, 6 * 250 = 1500 ounces (figuring six ounces per person at 250 people). 1500 ounces / 16 ounces (which is a pound) 93.75 pounds of meat total (approx) On occasion 8 ounces of meat is served per person. If you want to serve 8 ounces of meat per person then the figures are 8 * 250 = 2000 ounces 2000 / 16 = 125 pounds of meat
