Not if were comparing them "apples to apples". If it's the same brand and same age and the thermostats are accurately calibrated, the would cook at the same pace. However, typically an electric oven takes longer to pre-heat than gas, especially electric ovens with an inclosed bake element. As a side note, many people like an electric oven better than gas because electric tends to be more consistent at holding temp during baking than gas, and it doesn't dry food as much. I do have to say, there's nothing like artisan bread out of a gas oven. I feel gas is far superior for making artisan breads, but overall electric is preferred.
Electric ovens have a self-cleaning mode that gas ovens usually don't have, and if they do, they are expensive. Most users prefer electric ovens.
Gas ovens are my preference, they cook faster and more even.
Yes, electric ovens better than gas.
Gas ovens do save more money than electric ovens. But the drawback to a gas oven versus electric is that you do not get even heat exchange with gas as you do with an electric oven.
No. Electric and gas ovens are not compatible.
No, gas ovens are not any less safe than electric ovens. Each comes with their own lists of pros and cons. A sales associate at any appliance store can be most helpful in determining our needs.
Some consumers favored gas ranges over electric ovens because food could be cooked faster on a gas range, and gas ovens did not interfere with other electrical appliances. A gas range also left no residual heat
A gas oven uses a gas flame to heat up, while an electric oven uses electric heating elements. Gas ovens are generally more responsive and can provide more even heating, while electric ovens are often more energy efficient.

convection cooking appliances such as wall ovens. Improvements in technology were helping gas ranges compete with electric ranges and microwave ovens. Also, glass "cook tops" that covered burners and electric coil eyelets became popular
A gas stove makes it much easier for some one cooking to have a more precise temperature. However, if you're looking for something cheaper and easier to install, then an electric stove will be right for you.
Electric ovens are not cheaper to run when compared to a gas oven. Though they offer more options and have better results, some people pick a gas oven because it is cheaper than an electric one.
