Ask in the hardware store for an adhesive that has extremely high heat resistance.
ANS 2 A good high heat epoxy, such as J B Weld.
Epoxy or silicone would be best
Placing a metal lid over a glass of hot drink would result in heating up of the metal.
Glass can be distinguished from metal refuse by its smooth and transparent appearance, in contrast to the solid and opaque nature of metal. Glass is also usually lighter in weight compared to metal refuse. Additionally, glass is not magnetic, which can be a distinguishing factor when trying to identify it from metal.
I would never recommend metal racks in glass pans . Both conduct heat at different levels and can cause the glass to brake. Please use metal racks in your metal pans .
Glass would be the best, but even better would be metal. But you'll have to pay attention what type of glass that you get.
Lexel, LePage extreme or 100% silicone.
350 should bake about the sameas metal, just remember to cool glass before washing it.
I would use 100% clear silicone. -But I would first look for easier ways to do this.
Considering cans are metal and metal is a better heat conductor than glass (any cook will confirm that from years of burnt fingers) then I'd say GLASS would be able to cool quicker. It's easier for glass to loose thermodynamic energy than metal.
Sulfuric acid would eat through a metal can. It must be stored in glass.
glass and metal objects
An iron would why because an iron is a type of metal and metal heats up quickly
