the post it note
They felt like it.
yes but for one thing, I'm not sure if the resources I had looked at are telling the truth. In the history books it had said that he had. Dont relly on me to get all the info. Im only answering the question. He and Spencer F. Sliver did. Silver invented the special glue on the back, and Fry came up with the idea. Together they invented it.
No, he died in 1992,I am very sorry to say. And by the way, he did NOT invent Post-It Notes, Spencer Silver did.
Spencer Silver invented the adhesive used in Post-it notes in 1968 while working for 3M. Arthur Fry later developed the idea of using the adhesive for sticky notes in 1974, leading to the official launch of Post-it notes in 1980.
The post-it note was invented by the two American scientists Arthur Fry and Spencer Silver in 1974.

The Post-it note, invented by Arthur Fry and Dr. Spencer Silver and manufactured In the 1970s.lthough now available in a wide range of colors, shapes, and sizes, Post-it notes are most commonly a 3-inch (76 mm) square.
In 1968, Dr. Spencer Silver invented a repositionable adhesive that was strong enough to stick to surfaces but did not leave any residue. Arthur Fry first invented the Post-it Note in 1974 while looking for a bookmark. Fry took some of Silver's adhesive and applied it to the edge of a piece of paper and solving his problem.
Spencer Silver, a scientist at 3M, accidentally created a low-tack adhesive in 1968 while trying to develop a strong adhesive. It took several years before his colleague, Art Fry, realized the adhesive's potential for creating reusable bookmarks. Together, they launched the product now known as Post-it Notes in 1980.
The Post-it note was invented in 1980 by Spencer Silver and Art Fry at 3M.
